Alaska's marijuana program is based on a Weight-based tax system. This means that the tax charged is calculated using the final weight of the Marijuana at the time of purchase.
The following tax is levied upon marijuana cultivators:
- Useable marijuana: $50 per ounce
- immature marijuana: $25 per ounce
- trim: $15 per ounce
- clones: $1 per clone
