In the state of Colorado, certain items are considered to be taxable. This includes carbonated water, any chewing gum, all seeds and plants meant for growing food, any pre-prepared salads and salad bars, cold sandwiches, deli trays, candy, all sorts of soft drinks and hot and cold beverages which are served in unsealed cups through the use of a vending machine.

TAXABLE
In the state of Colorado, sales for 15 cents or less are considered to be exempt.
