A sales tax exemption certificate can be used by businesses (or in some cases, individuals) who are making purchases that are exempt from the Texas sales tax. This includes transporters of motor fuel, aviation fuel dealers, compressed natural gas/liquefied natural gas dealers, exporters, blenders, interstate truckers, dyed diesel fuel bonded users, suppliers, distributors and importers. All sole owners, partnerships, corporations or other organizations must submit an application for a Motor Fuels Supplier License.
