Who needs a Connecticut Sales Tax Permit?

When you register online with the CT Department of Revenue Services or inperson at a local field office, you will immediately get a temporary sales tax permit so you can begin operations. Your permanent permit will arrive within 15 days. If you use Form REG-1 to apply, it will take 2-3 weeks to be processed.
