How to get an Oklahoma Sales Tax Permit:
You can register a new business and obtain your sales tax permit through the Oklahoma Tax Commission's Online Business Registration System, a part of OkTAP (the Oklahoma Taxpayer Access Point) web portal.
If you need your permit faster than the five-day waiting period, you must apply in person at the Tulsa or Oklahoma City Tax Commission offices.
